United Way of Metropolitan Dallas tackles complex social problems by surrounding North Texans with local programming in the areas of Education, Income, and Health – the essential component of a thriving community. We understand that these three areas are connected and correlated with community success. We also believe that our lives are inextricably linked, when one of us succeeds, we all succeed. We are solution seekers and agents of change. Our goal is to have thriving families who are healthy, who have students who can successfully enter college or a career after high school, and who no longer live in poverty.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Senior Director of Major Gifts (“Senior Director”) will be a leader in the major gift program for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) and the United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas (UWFMD). Working closely with the CDO and the President and CEO, the Senior Director will be focused on growing and stewarding relationships at United Way through major and planned gifts in support of the organization’s $100 million Unite Forever campaign.
