    United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is committed to treating 360 degrees of need in North Texas by addressing the issues of education, financial stability and health. The Digital Marketing Team plays a key role in achieving this goal by communicating and expanding our work via website, emails, social media, videos and more. We are seeking an intern to assist with the development and execution of digital strategies that focus on relationship building, customer acquisition, engagement and conversion goals.


    • Assist in creating and testing emails
    • Help develop content and strategy for email drip campaigns and ad hoc emails
    • Help build automated customer lifecycle journeys
    • Generate ideas for email database growth
    • Assist in updating and creating sign up forms and landing pages on United Way website
    • Assist in drafting social media messaging
    • Research, write and edit website content around issues of education, income and health
    • Research ways to segment our database and gain new information/insight into market personas
    • Attend team meetings
    • Support team members as needed
    • Continual research into best practices and trends in web, mobile, email and social


    Bachelor’s Degree or progress toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, English, social work or related field



    Ability to work autonomously and think independently

    Self- motivated and resourceful

    Innovative thinker and team player

    Excellent organizational and analytical skills

    Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills

    Keen attention to detail

    Ability to meet deadlines

    Proficiency in MS Office software


    Interested candidates should include 3-5 writing samples.
