The Coordinator, Events and Engagement (“Coordinator”) is focused on engagement relationships, engagement oversight, supporting project management and volunteer engagement initiatives. The Coordinator will report to the Manager, Events, Engagement and Business Development.
The Coordinator will support the Events and Engagement team in fulfilling corporate engagement requests strategically to reach corporate social impact goals through serving in an account-based role and supporting Resource Development counterparts for strategically scheduling speaking engagements, tours, fairs and volunteer projects. The Coordinator will provide support with goals of increasing corporate donor engagement and enhancing corporate volunteerism. The coordinator will also be responsible for coordination of and support of execution of various projects and events as assigned.
Project Coordination: The Coordinator will support the professional, administrative and promotional duties associated with the planning and implementation of assigned volunteer engagement projects and events including developing a project plan, supporting its implementation, coordinating event logistics, tracking a budget, preparing/purchasing materials for delivery for all events using personal vehicle, coordinating with venues and vendors, setting up event displays, sampling and representation of brand at events, break down and event analysis/follow-up. During the planning phase, the Coordinator will be responsible for creating recap reports for assigned projects or events and gathering feedback and information from all relevant employees and departments. The Coordinator will also be responsible for executing projects in a fiscally responsible way, by following internal control policies, including working with preferred vendors, soliciting in-kind partnerships and reduced pricing, tracking and utilizing surplus supplies and materials for like-initiatives, etc.
Volunteer Engagement: The Coordinator will support account-based volunteer engagement relationships, including project planning for current and new constituents; both by coordinating a project from start to finish and by supporting the Engagement team and those in Marketing, Resource Development and Community Impact departments. The Coordinator will manage projects from start to finish and ensure projects meet external and internal team customer needs and deadlines. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the supervision and oversight of Project Assistants on assigned engagements and events. The Coordinator will also support various types of database management, include maintaining accurate information, tracking specific project details and outcomes and daily updating information based on departmental feedback.
Support: The Coordinator will support the Events and Engagement teams with administrative tasks, tracking budgets and processing payments, updating database information, creating agendas and other project materials, and by providing on-site logistical support.
